Casa Radicondoli - Tuscan Country Vacation Rental
Four Story Townhouse in the heart of Tuscany
This area is rustic but not remote. It is known for its country recipes, Cinghiale (wild boar) and delicious red
wines (bottled without preservatives)
Immediately to the south are extensive natural preserves where wildlife roams freely.
Two small rivers flow year-round in the valleys below Radicondoli.
From either the 4th floor Master Beedroom, or the 3rd floor Living Room windows, the towers of San Gimignano can
be seen easily by day as well as the lights of Volterra at night.
This is the place for the experienced Italian traveller to enjoy old Italy. Incredible treasures abound, including
the Renaissance frescoes in Calle di Val d'elsa, Etruscan tombs in the Castelnuovo area, and the alabaster artwork
inside the city of Volterra.
This Italian townhouse can accomodate 6 people on the top 3 floors.
If one tires of cooking in the quaint kitchen, one only need to go next door to Trattoria la Pergola, known for
its thin crusted pizzas, full bar and breath-taking outside patio.
Two blocks down the street is Trattoria Il Granaio, which features a more elegant setting and formal fare, yet
is still reasonably priced.
Two capaccino bars keep the energy up.
A 24-7 ATM that looks like it has been there for 1,000 years accepts all cards.
• 40 minutes from Siena & San Gimignano
• 1 hour from Florence, Volterra and crystal beaches
• 3 1/2 hours from Rome
• 5 hrs from Milan.
Consider car rental a must so you can enjoy the Tuscan splendor.
